The Centre was opened in Warsaw in autumn 2023 as a single point of contact for Polish companies interested in the Ugandan market.
The Uganda One Stop Trade, Investment and Tourism Centre opened in Warsaw in the autumn of 2023, an initiative of the Light for Africa Foundation in collaboration with the Uganda Investment Authority. Its purpose is simple: to put in one place, in Poland, the information and the contacts that a company previously had to assemble from several institutions in Kampala.
The opening was accompanied by an economic summit bringing together Ugandan government representatives, Polish companies and institutional partners.
